Ammi
Many of you have told me that you remember picking Ammi in the fields when you were younger for bouquets. The Ammi varieties we offer are: Queen of Africa and Green Mist. They are both tried and true. I do recommend sowing about two weeks prior to your frost date in North Florida. Ammi blooms and goes to seed quickly, so stay on top of cutting it. You must cut it for Ammi to return. Ammi, in my trials has been a flush of blooms and re-blooms for about 4 weeks when started on time. Otherwise, the heat gets to them. There is nothing that comes close to the amount of blooms at one time produced by Ammi. It’s jaw dropping!
