Cosmos

from $3.00

Cosmic, graceful, feminine are all words to describe Cosmos. They have the most delicate petals, with and without frills and their yellow centers make for such a gorgeous display of Springs arrival. We are putting Cosmos on the Early Summer list because in our experience, they stay beautiful without blemishes caused by the heat in late spring/early summer. The problem is, Cosmos cannot take a freeze so you need to time them perfectly. Starting your seeds on the frost date usually insures success in North Florida. We have several favorite varieties, but you can’t go wrong with any of them.
